The London-based-Garconniere Eran Leon has just visited the London Fashion Week and he sends us some fresh stories about talented, up and coming menswear designers. After visiting numerous presentations and catwalks, schmoozing with the bubbly London scene and shading a collective tear on Lee McQueen, Eran has picked up 3 designers for an exclusive report on Hagarconniere. First is: Carolyn Massey.

Grey, heavy, great-coats had lapels pinned back with a row of buttons. Trench-coats in thick wool were twinned with a smart version of the marching-boot. Smocks and trousers had a touch of humour, being made in a peach leather. Massey also sent a model down the catwalk in a daring, silver Lurex all-in-one, union suit and worked on making the romper-suit more masculine by using denim, pairing it with a long-sleeved T-shirt and dark, tie-dyed, ribbed leggings, slashed below the knee. As we have come to expect from the label, Massey continues to develop her accessories line: knitted hats and scarves along with lavish knitted balaclava.
Layers were fastened with sharply shiny brooches, which recalled medals and badges, designed by Hannah Martin. Also this season sees another first for Massey with her collaboration with Tabio, the japanese sock specialists to produce a stunning mens collection.
