James long aw10 is all about boys with strong and determined attitude. Promiscuous boys hot and feverish hanging around boiler rooms, dark corridors with flickering lights and fuses sparking electricity. I was told that the inspiration for collection is found in the work of Bruce Labruce and Laurie Anderson's O superman video
The colour palette is rich with blood red and deep ink blue (ref. Bruce Labruce which can be seen on t-shirts, jackets, holdall bags and lining) combining it with the safe and wearable black and grey.
Super heavy corduroy and embroidery knitwear were among my favorites, and of course the must have hard wearing boiler suits.I also loved the chunky knit tops, what is left is the wait for the summer to pass
